Farmers Marketplace was founded in 1997.  The original small location in Redding grew to a chain of stores operated throughout northern California.  Today, the City of Shasta Lake location, built in 1964, is operated by founder, Al Mancasola's family.  His mentoring the guidelines of responsible, respective, and fair business retail practices continue to this day.
